Would be funny to see the potion only eliminate higher brain functions and they only think it causes mass rage in werewolves because they never tested it on the wolves loved ones. Seeing dinky become (at least temporarily) a wolf like pony could be fun, bloody rage at those that have wronged her but licks for derpy, long caring licks. Maybe even show her chasing her tail, hunting a rabbit, etc.

they take one look at the werewolves and NOPE the fuck out of there.
 
the dissenting dawn knights were hidden away in the wilderness. what are the raging werewolves there going to do there? pee on the trees? the ones in the city are a huge problem, but the ones left here (including dinky) what if vinyl’s group just… left them alone?

they have a point, if werewolves can be so easily turned into weapons against the ones they love. is it really ethical to keep bringing more into the world, knowing what destruction can be wrought using them as helpless tools?
 
but uh… yeah definitely not the way for the dissenters to go about proving that point. death would be kinder than what those sick fucks deserve.

Oh yes, these guys are totally sympathetic and not completely deserving of what Vinyl, Derpy and Co. are doing to them…yeah, drugging non-violent people, including at least one child, until they’ll attack anyone on sight in hopes of creating an excuse for genocide is TOTALLY a worthy cause.
