I’m no psychoanalyst, but perhaps the implication is that, to paraphrase shittily, furries are pussies, bronies are horses with Five Dollar Footlongs (on their horse OCs, hue.)
 
I mean, horses are insanely fast, strong, and dexterous, which is why I’ve always been so fucking confused how an animal of that size and weight can do all that fucking shit, lol. So, in my imagined simulated interactions between either ferals or anthros, horses have the potential to overpower numerous other species, combat-wise or copulation-wise. >w<
 
There’s also the factor of our extraordinarily long-term and persistent admiration of the source material, compared to furries’ in general. To this day, I’m still not completely sure why this one show and its adjoining spin-off material makes bronies exponentially more passionate than fans of anthropomorphic animals and organisms from a multitude of media arts facets.
