And? Pokemon is kind of known for introducing mechanics and dropping them the next gen. Let’s move this to the Pokemon tread since we’re derailing the comments.
It’s Pokémon Home now. But the thing is that once you transfer them to Pokémon Home from Pokémon Bank, you can’t transfer them back nor can you transfer them to the new games if they aren’t in the regional Pokédex. You just have to wait until they release a game that does feature them in the regional Pokédex. This is what fans are angry about.
And the thing is they talked about Pokémon that would be “appropriate” to the region. So I fear that even though Charizard (my favorite) made it this time (likely with the idea that dragons fit in with castles and England is known for it’s ancient castles), that next time he might be cut because he wouldn’t be considered “appropriate” for the region.
In addition to the fans that want them all in the game, you can see how they would fear for their favorites because of the above.
@Meanlucario
Granted, haven’t recent Pokémon games not had every single one either? I mean, there’s like over 800 now, so that might be too many to keep track of.
@Beau Skunky
Not including all the data of the mons from previous games/generations. I do think it’s a stretch compare to other popular franchise who deserve more scorn in this area.
Yeah that’s how some companies are

Me: “Oh! Excuse me! I must be on the wrong website.
I could just as easily tell you to stop. So yeah.
You’re the one continuing this. Now either stop replying to me or we can continue this in a much more appropriate thread.

Never said I planned on discussing this further.
Take it to the tread I linked.
Yeah except Mega Evolution was around for more than one generation and had more of an impact than other features.

There’s that, yes, but Mega Evolutions and Z-moves are also being removed for no apparent reason.
When have they given gen 1 mons the shaft? Black and White don’t count since they were a semi-reboot of the series.
Did they really state that any Pokémon are guaranteed to always be in the games from now on? I would think Pikachu would always be there if so…
He’s from gen 1, so him and all those mons will be in SnS and any other future games with limited mons.
The bank was around since gen 6, and only in gen 8 are they excluding mons. And the motto is still “catch them all.”

Maybe that’s what the Pokémon Bank and such are for.
Other than Let’s Go, a spin-off, they all had the data of all the mons made, even if they were unencounterable in the games themselves.

Wait, what are they doing with those games?
