I think that’s been done to death in fan animations frankly.
 
Also, saw the “O.K. K.O.” Sonic crossover episode. Even though, I’m not a big K.O. fan, it was surprisingly good, and had many references to the Sonic franchise, including surprisingly, the old cartoons. (Including the OVA.)

Actually I don’t about you guys but I still think mlp and team fortress makes a better crossover the mlp and sonic.
 
But that’s my opinion.

really much how the mane 6 had changed, comparing them now and sonic cast due their similarities and personalities.  
and they had character development of where the similarities ended.
 
makes me wonder what fanfics would take place in the School of Friendship with sonic would be like.

I thought people srill cared about Sonic crossover with MLP ever since Sonic moved to IDW

Admittedly, Sonic/MLP fandom hasn’t been active since Season 8. In fanfics, it’s either Sonic and MLP teaming up against villains or shipfic; School of Friendship idea and cast doesn’t offer much for the fanon crossover.

I would love a Sonic X MLP:FiM crossover just to watch the epic butthurt from both fanbases.
