the book closed in episode 1, season 1, when twilight sparkle stopped reading it and said, “hmm. elements of harmony. I know I’ve heard of those before. but where?” then, the closed book was in her saddlebag as she got accosted by those party bandits on the way back to her tower of solitude.

Agreed. I want this show to end on a high note, to leave the fans with a smile, the same way Gravity Falls ending on a wonderful finale. Something that makes most fans smile and say “While I’ll miss this series, I will always treasure it”
