man, I’m tired of the mane 6. it’s great if they’re there, but even that stupid “wacky student hijinks” season was interesting from having other characters take the spotlight.

That would be fun, actually.  
Celly would be there, as would Luna, just not as the current princesses. They would be able to watch over things, step in when she needs help now or then.  
It would bring things back to the relative simplicity of S1 and allow Boulder to build things as they choose, and they are pretty talented at world building.  
Overall, I would happily watch it.

Eh, the Gen 5 from the leaks seems to be false at this point. I think G5 may be more of change in how we watch MLP than what MLP we are watching.  
So far, it seems the 2021 movie will be G4, and if you read the announcement about S9, you read Hasbro talking about new content plans. It seems like they are changing the way we watch Generation 4 more than anything. So, it sounds like yeah, the mane 6 from FiM will be a focus, Meghan McCarthy is in charge, and it seems like Boulder is passionate about MLP.

Wait, is all this about gen 5 true? Mane six still the focus etc? As in the gen 4 mane six?
