New Nemesis!
She hasn’t lied per se, but she has deceived us. You know, exact words and stuff. Same with the Hub assuaging rumors over Twilight becoming an alicorn by lying through their teeth. I understand that in many cases the staff can’t talk about things, but instead of saying “I dunno wut your’e talking about, oh looksie I lied!” I’d rather them say “Spoilers! Can’t say!” or even my favorite “Oh look, a moose!”
So…when did Meghan ever lied to the fandom?

Reading it again, technically still true. She legitimately didn’t know what revelations the person was referring to.
Of course they’re fucking lying to us, they’d get fired if they told the truth!
She didn’t use “The Great and Powerful”.
She’s on the road to recovering.

Because Tara Strong knows everything that will happen in the show. And she knew from reading the screw that Twilight would be an alicorn even though the word isn’t actually said in the episode.
They have. One or two times I can forgive (Tara for Twilicorn, and the Hub as well), but as Pinkie says, “Losing a friends trust is the fastest way to lose a friend FOREVER!” If they keep lying like this, we won’t be able to trust them, and gone is our wonderful fan/creator relationship.
Haven’t they already lied before?
Okay, Shimmer’s introduction isn’t so bad, but the creators are actually lying to fans now. While I guess they can’t give away too much, this isn’t a trend I want to see continuing.
Seems to be represented on their clothes (skirts, shirts, patches)
And to its credit, they used clothes for cutie marks which I always thought would be like that if they were human. But who am I kidding, It’s just another high-school chick flick as far as I’m concerned so I do not care for it at the moment.
Maybe the cutie marks were never supposed to be on their faces, except on promotional art and merchandise?
