So, her father didn’t tell her anything about what being Dragon Lord means and involves.

Was that from a total lack of interest on his part, or did he imply takeit for granted she’d have to learn ‘the hard way’ the same as he did?

Based on the dialogue, I suspect it’s the latter.

Ember: “It’s my first time being in charge. Dad wasn’t big on sharing Dragon Lord details. It’s kind of a ‘burn or be burned’ job.”
