With no further foreseeable explanation, (at least from the direction he is looking) the Hornbill concludes that they were simply being rude.
He brushes off his own wings to rid of any leaves, sticks or any other debris as he scoffs at the annoyance.
He then begins to hear a faint noise from behind which has an ever increasing volume, as if it’s getting closer.
Turning his head to look, he get’s shocked at the sight of what’s barreling towards him!
DAH!

Guess who’s stomping to dinner.
This page was a lot of work to color, but I finally got it out! It was quite fun to play around with how expressive I could make the wings of the hornbill on this page.
Wings are essentially the arms of the bird, so I wanted them to convey emotion as much as his face would.
Especially in that last panel, I was really excited to to get to that one.
Also the first panel took about 3 hours to color on it’s own. Forests take a little while, but I’m really proud of how it’s turning out so far!
Ok. I thought you may like a character in that series called “Ancient Psychic Tandem War Elephant” I’d like to know what you think.
No, I have not watched TV in nearly a decade. My love for Elephants came from just learning about them and their nature. As well as being fond of African wildlife in general.
I never intended to post anymore pages of this story beyond page 102 here, since it’s not MLP related in the slightest. The story is more on it’s own now-a-days. Now that I’ve moved on from MLP a year and a half ago, I’m trying to focus more on my own personal work, like my story here. Someone else is posting my pages here and I have no idea who it is.
TheFriendlyElephant draws antelopes in MLP style and the two main characters in this comic are in the first panel, running away from an angry Rhino. Here’s an earlier panel:
