The advent of Patreon just made the presence of paywalls more noticeable. They’ve always been there and always will be. However, I’ve found artists who eventually open the door to all their content (be it over a week, month or longer) are more successful in the long run.
 
Hiding content behind a permanent paywall is a path to a quicker end.

And yeah, I notice, and I know why. Its because idiots like you don’t ever think about the time and effort put into such works. All you see is it pop up on your feed or in the trending tab. You lack the ability to empathize and to understand how difficult it is to do these things, something I have seen frequently with these last few generations.

Frankly, they don’t ask enough, they spend a lot of damn time and work on those animations.  
Maybe the time you waste trying to steal it could be spent getting a better job so you can afford the, what is it, $5?
