Another series I haven’t done in months lol. Much like my DA Bronies series, I got a bit burnt out on this one, but the reason for this was because really people weren’t all that interested in it. But I am committed to keep on doing this series. This it the 9th State in the series so I figured it would switch it around a bit with the format by having the ponies face each other for the next 8 states.

Anyway, this is Florida, the Sunshine state. Got the title from a 1 hit wonder from the 80s lol. I personally have never been to Florida, but I will sometime in the next few years since my brother’s family is stationed there now and my brother wants to fulfill my #1 thing to do on my bucket list, take me to Disney World lol. When coming up with the designs for these two ponies though, I wanted to do take a different approach.

Happy-Go-Lucky- Fun fact about this particular pony, I originally intended him to be an orange and yellow pony called Sunburst, but than the S6 premiere came along and I had to make some changes lol. So I based his coat on Key Lime Pie. Sorry his coloring is so bright, but I did try to tone it done. Take my word for it, the real picture isn’t this bright. His mane is influenced by the Sun, due to the state nickname and his cutie mark reflects that and the love of music. I was thinking of Miami when I thought of the music influence. Oh his name is partially influenced by Disney since it’s the “Happiest place on Earth”.

Art Deco- Speaking of Miami, I wanted one pony to represent that city. In fact I came up with Art Deco before the stallion due to my love of art. I had a friend who visit there and she says the art scene there is huge. So why not have a pony represent this popular art design. From her colors to her cutie mark, it’s all inspired by art deco.

So to your Floridians out there, how’d I do represent your state? I can’t wait to visit there.
