Really? How do you think did she do that?
Also, AJ never showed any problems with those two being together. No her seasickness didn’t count. If anything, I think she was even subtly supportive of her friend in the endeavor. As a best friend should be. As opposed to her seeing her friend with Valencia, whom AJ could clearly sense that there was something off and was naturally concerned about her friend’s well-being.

Oh yeah. From what we’ve seen of him, he’s leagues better than Blueblood and Trenderhoof.
He’s not an asshole. If anything, he has every quality Rarity could want from a guy. Kind, polite, thoughtful, helpful, handsome.
Emphasis on his seemingly helpful character when he spared some of his time to entertain and calm distressed passengers. He’s even later seen trying to help with the repair of the ship.
Rarity is a lucky girl.
