Not often I post my sad pics, but I really liked how this one turned out.

Every time I browse Apogee pics, I try to run through the Boop O’ Roops tag to swing by this image and read your comment about her sudden realization of just how good the cereal is. :p

Fortunately, she won’t have to worry about caring for Apogee. She can just kick her back to Jet Stream.
But then he’ll try to claw his way back into her life by trying to pay the bills for her.
I think it’s her first time eating Boop O’ Roops, and those are tears of joy, with a little frustration that no one told her how delicious they are.

From what I can see, there are several pages of paper under the empty booze bottle, and one of the cans. There appears to be all of three bits sitting on the table in the left of the picture.
Aside from that and the other living being in the room, there’s no visible food.
So it could be that the parent has been hit with several bills, has no money to cover them and has barely any money to get food. and the child has to be cared for.
All in all, an extremely bleak picture.
