In all honesty, I would find there being such a thing as a “typical” embodiment of chaos and disharmony to be very surprising.
 
From a strictly show-canon perspective, I don’t really expect draconequi to be a thing, actually. To my recollection, the term was only ever used once on-screen, by Cheerilee in the beginning of “The Return of Harmony” – Discord, Celestia, Fluttershy and Twilight have never used such a term. Discord has always simply been the Spirit of Chaos, or the Lord of Chaos.
 
Following that train of thought, it’s likely that the closest thing Discord has to an actual species is physical embodiments of the concept of inconstancy – and if that is so, a very high degree of physical variety is to be expected.
