It is a good look for her!
I never did actually consider making her dead. I was just fairly torn on how I wanted to do her appearance. I wanted her to look aged, older than characters like Mrs. Shy or Windy Whistles, but not as old as Granny Smith. Ultimately I decided on wrinkles under the eyes like the mom characters in the show but fading her mane and adding lines of gray :D
