Traditionally, the moon and archery were associated with Artemis. Aka. the Anti-Venus/Aphrodite/Cadance.

I’m not sure when things got swapped and “Love” came to be associated with archery.

(Protip. The singular of “Putti” is NOT “Puta.” Don’t make the same mistake I did. The teacher wasn’t amused, or if she was, she hid it well.)
