Oh, well I stir fry stuff in sauce pans sometimes, to sear it before making a stew out of it. probably not good for the pan, eh.
We only ever boil food in water in saucepans, so the chances of any oil in there are slim to none…
there might have been oil in the pan if it was poorly cleaned, for some good old greek fire. cooking oil’s still not very flammable though, at least not at the boiling point of water…
Totally agree! x3
Too much reality XD thanks!!
@RainbowDash69
Thanks a lot!!! **
Hahaha, sorry, it’s very funny! I can think of new ideas just by imagining those situations. x’D
And my mom one day wanted to make rice (she was young and had never cooked) and she thought there was bit quantity, and made everything from the package in the saucepan… After a while, the rice was overturned all over the floor from the kitchen. It was a river of rice. XD
Midnight : May the burgers roast in peace T^T <They were too good to be eaten !)
And I thought it was weird when a moth decided to land in my pan of scrambled eggs. Dunno if it lived or not since I quickly let it back outside.
The microwave didn’t survive - the burgers sure as hell didn’t. They were a charred mess, only fit for the bin.
As for the water I set on fire - all I can say it was plain old tap-water in a steel saucepan. Granted, certainly not pure (especially as I live in a very hard-water area), but it definitely shouldn’t be inflammable. xD
Edited
Midnight : Wow… Did the burgers survives ? ;n;
I’m more concerned about the saucepan of water that he set on fire… O_O’ <Are you sure you didn’t put Potassium in the water or any other combustible ?)
Paradoxe : How could he put Potassium in water in a kitchen ?
__’My mum once set fire to the microwave trying to cook burgers from frozen. We had to get a new microwave.
My dad once boiled some eggs for four hours (he forgot they were cooking and then we went out shopping). We spent a day cleaning fragments of egg off the kitchen walls.
I once set fire to a saucepan of water. Yep, that’s what I said - steel saucepan, plain water…fire. I still don’t know how.
So from one family of lethal chefs to another…keep trying! ^^
