I just noticed that. You’re quite right, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to unsee that.

Then again, considering that the pizza in the party sequence at the end of the episode has entire cupcakes embedded in it, I think it’s safe to say that Cheese just has terrible taste in pizzas. Or he simply doesn’t know what a pizza actually is beyond “flat bread with food on it”.
