Here’s a Hearth’s Warming Fact: the holiday we are seeing the ponies celebrate with snow, candy, carols, and gift-giving isn’t Christmas. Their holiday is about the founding of the country they live in, Equestria. We’re watching them enjoy a patriotic festival, the kind we usually associate with beer, fireworks, and military parades.

I admit it does feel a bit weird to watch wingless Twilight episodes now. It’s good to see the library, though.

Yeah, it’s almost a little weird now when you go back and watch the original episodes. I miss the treehouse library more than anything though. It had a lot more personality than the castle.
