i think thats one of the whole point of dank memes, liking things ironically even though you know nothing about the series
it happens to a lot of things, like anime or spongebob or whatever. hardly anybody genuinely likes them, but pretends to like them for shits and giggles and that makes me lonely sometimes
I doubt anyone new would stumble across Equestria Girls especially Wallflower, where Forgotten Friendship is pretty deep into the series already.
