Anyone who notes when an specific promise has lost his value?
We always break promises when an emergency happens, that doesn’t mean we totally disgregard the concept of a promise. Some things cannot be uphold if it takes a toll on you and others.

Twilight desperately kindly did ask Queen Novo for help but the Queen stubbornly and secretly cowardly said no even though Novo understands and sympathies how Twilight feels about her home and kingdom being conquered by the same storm forces that conquered Hippogriffia.

If Queen Novo just took Twilight’s offer to help and put an end to the Storm King’s forces by putting her fear of facing the Storm King aside in the first place than Twilight wouldn’t desperately try to “borrow” the pearl by reluctantly use her friends as a distraction without them knowing of her misguided deception despite she’s in a desperate situation to save Equestria.

That’s not how magic of friendship works. Being careless by jumping a rope with no caution at all would worry dead sick your friends. Accidentally attracting enemies that are trying to capture your friend because you couldn’t contain your celebration is not what I’d call good for friends. Trusting in strangers in a dangerous place where your friends are with you and could result in unpleasant concequences is not something friendly.
Magic of friendship doesn’t mean “just blindly trust in them, no matter how infuriating they are or what kind of dangerous situations they put you in”.

Well, remember how Simba have broken the Circle of Life in “The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride”? Well, Twilight in this movie have broken the Magic of Friendship.

Well, even though this movie has and argument scene in the movie, this movie would featured an argument scene between Queen Novo and Princess Skystar after the false banishment of the Mane Six and Spike in a similar fashion to Ariel and King Triton in The Little Mermaid, or Simba and Kiara in The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride, or Merida and Queen Elinor in Brave, or Miguel and his Rivera Family (mostly Abuelita) in Coco, or Manny and Peaches in Ice Age: Continental Drift, or Selena Quintanilla and her father Abraham in Selena. But there isn’t.

And getting maimed by an Ursa Minor is not traumatizing at all.

I could have understood the stress Twilight went through and why she was acting out of desperation, but that was no excuse for her to be entirely out of character, steal something important to the livelihood of the hippogriffs without apologizing, and consider all her interactions and friendship with her friends worthless, basically throwing out all the character development she got for seven seasons and coming off like she hadn’t learned anything since episode one season one (and the fact with the stealing thing, considering she’s supposed an authority figure, this could end up teaching children that if they really need something to help out/save someone or something they love, stealing is a perfectly acceptable way to get it and they don’t have to apologize and everything will be alright in the end if the person you took it from found out you were doing it for good deeds, this is NOT something that pre-schoolers, kindergartners, and first to seventh grade children need authority figures to teach them). Not to mention she was acting totally racist and judgemental to Capper and the pirates, and only seemed to help Tempest (there was no need for Tempest to be reformed after all the shit she pulled and if you read her backstory in the comic).
 
Twilight’s gone downhill since season six. She used to be one of my favorites and I could relate to her (like reading books, am a bit socially awkward), but not anymore. She’s just become an unlikable, selfish, arrogant jerk who doesn’t think before she acts, I mean, look at episode 12 of season 8 where she blamed the CMC for causing trouble when they didn’t and banned them on the spot. I still wonder why she is the “Princess of Friendship.”

Friendship saved the world many times before. Twilight forgot that yet again for the sake of the plot. To be fair, the Aesop Amnesia isn’t just exclusive to her, so I don’t blame Twilight. I blame bad writing.

They don’t because they don’t know what it’s like to be in your adversaries.

I still don’t get why they hate her. She was trying to save Equestria. How hard is that to understand?
