You do look standoffish here, so I’d say your intended pose came through.

It is mostly the mask that gets warm, the rest doesn’t really make a difference.
 
And tbh it was a bit cold that day as well. I had to put on a coat of a friend at one point because I got chilly due of the waiting and I didn’t want to catch a cold during a meet :/.
 
 
(Yea my hair got really messy at this point. >.<)
 
I cosplayed with 26 °C during japan expo this year and I was still fine.

Yea like the other one said, that kind of defeats the point of the art form. The mask is mostly used to get as close to the character as possible, but I decided to go with a stylized version instead.
 
So its pretty much the same reason why they use mascots.

Yeah, the facial expression on that mask kind of defeats the body language of “go away”. Makes it feel more like you’re just being all tsun-tsun about it, unfortunately.
