Exactly. We would all become as cute as her, because we would become a part of her.
She’s taking that appearance to lure prey or to make anon feel comfortable it doesn’t drip over you and becomes another of itself, it assimilates things so if she was real all life on the planet would become one single entity.
If she were real, shortly all life on the planet would be exactly as cute as she is. So there’s that aspect also.

That’s simultaneously a very good thing and also a very bad thing.
Good ’cause a thing like The Thing being here on Earth would be very bad for 99.999% of the lifeforms here.
Bad because Thingpone is so cute (when she wants to be).
Thingpone can do basically whatever she wants with her body, as she’s pretty much John Carpenter’s The Thing in the form of a pony. But itchiness is caused by a mild irritation of the skin, and the only way to be immune to it would be to partially disconnect your nervous system, which would be problematic enough for a being with only one form, and I can’t imagine how horribly wrong it could go for an Eldrith Abomination like her.
