I don’t think this would pay homage to Jem and the Holograms. But if I were Jerrica “Jem” Benton or Hound from Transformers G1, I wound create these holograms of them alongside Applejack and Rarity like that.

More specifically, she projects customizable holograms of whatever she teleports with the phone.
 
Until the reveal of where they went, I totally expected the worst case scenario to be the holograms actually replacing the originals after some extra action or time. Instead the holograms are the most benign part of her comparably low stakes low power magic use.
 
I bet that crowd wasn’t even in danger. Like, the phone would have stopped with the equivalent of “low storage, can’t install” message before any non-comedic “squish” occurred.
