My personal pet peeve is people who try to upload images from Deviantart with their original description, but end up copying the description verbatim, including the (now useless) cropped URLs in plain text.

I try most of the time, but I almost always miss something.
 
Pics by popular artists though, usually more than one person is going for the upload within a few seconds-a few minutes of it being posted by the artist at the original source. If you really want the upload you kind of have to do minimal tagging, then add afterwards.
