Silverstream: Nope! And Miss Shadow is so adorable. And so shiny. Although a bit pokey. Ocellus: Well she is wearing plated armour. Yona: Plated armour strong? Sandbar: Fairly. Her’s is probably Yak-resistant. Gallus: Are we going to ignore that the Pony who INVADED a country is just so easily huggable? Silverstream: D’aww. You want to hug her too don’t you, you big softie!

Cold War operations and policies all for the sake of screwing over the Soviet Union in an arms race 50 years ago hardly relates to modern attitudes.
@Ereiam
I expect the writers to not insult my intelligence, especially seven years into a show with the kind of fan following it has. The premise of pardoning a war criminal solely on the notion of them being sorry and having useful skills is ASININE.
@Ereiam
That doesn’t absolve them of their prior crimes committed with gleeful villainy. Only a fool pardons a war criminal without a second thought. It’s a very unrealistic expectation to set.
@Ereiam
Wow, we should start applying petitions to free any and all convicted war criminals who are genuinely remorseful then. Better have them out of prison and doing what they’re most competent at, right?
T:”Hmm i know how to murder you for that, but thanks for finishing those hugs, it’s funny that she is freak out of Storm King and what if hes sudenly got reformed, how she could react and what about other guards and Grubber, never mind anyway nice thought i got in my head nice thought about methods to kill her”

It’s called defection, mang. >w<
You’re seriously expecting realism in a setting of magical cartoon ponies aimed at a younger audience?

If the war criminal in question took a bullet to protect someone from their former overlord, bringing them down in the process, then why not?

You make it sound so easy.
She’s been reformed and pardoned, plus she’s competent to boot. Having her anywhere else would be a waste of potential.
