The left is normal and has the ‘mask’ on. Again, it depends on what program you use to make your images. Whether it be GIMP 2, Flash, Ponyscape, or many other programs. There are different names for the tool that does this but basically you can ‘hide’ stuff behind this mask and make it appear as if it’s ‘embedded’ inside the object. Most common mask is the eyes as you can hide it behind the character and have the ‘window’ of the eye show the pupil, iris, sclera, and light reflections of the eye. Now I just faded the Right image, but the ‘mask’ that hides it is usually indicated by a white faded filter that indicates the ‘area’ which you can see through. It all sounds like a mess, but I was basically asking if the faded look was intentional, an output error, or the Mask wasn’t turned on. Nothing bad intended in what I was saying. Just curious of what the case was. :3
 
I was mainly talking about the one on the left. Pepper Dust, I assume? I saw the other images of the one on the Right and they seem consistent in this regard, but saw there is more than one Pepper Dust? Not sure.

Just curious. What’s going on with the eyes looking faded? Was a mask not turned on? Not sure what program was used to make this.
