I’m inclined to think Discord “upgraded” the spell Trixie used which is why it’s going overboard. But it’s not life threatening. It’ll wash out the window before Trixie could drown.

Yeah, it would be interesting to know how active Discord was in making this happen or if he merely “encouraged” and “teased” Trixie into bad decisions, leaving the main action to her ;)
