Honestly, I would love to have some Halloween-y Christmas decorations to put up at the end of the year.  
It’d certainly be nice to see after so many consecutive years of holiday burnout, caused by Christmas decorations being put up in stores between late September and early October.

I once heard someone refer to Halloween as the last great bulwark preventing Christmas from taking over the calendar. This episode made me fear that its armor was beginning to crack.
 
You can buy banshee Christmas carolers, a vampire tree topper, and zombie elves. But I don’t know who is invading who at that point.
