It’s not “bad writing.”
The reason this happened was because without a hive to help her gather love (and therefore power), while her power level by default absolutely isn’t a joke in the grand scheme of things, she’s weaker than Mean Twilight, and therefore the original Twilight.
Chrysalis never could beat Celestia by default, that is to say on her own power, which is why she was surprised she won, back then.
Tell it like it is.
Bad writing?? Are you joking? This is million times better than the stupid Season 6 finale, it showed how Season 6 could have ended instead of Stupidlight Glimmer saving the world.
THIS IS AWESOME. What a shame that this is not Season 6 finale, that’s not the real Twilight, etc.
