So do I! Seriously, out of all the characters in the show, Lightning Dust is definitely the most underrated. In fact, I’d say she was more underrated than Starlight Glimmer. I’d say she should have had about five episodes, one after Wonderbolts Academy, where she reforms and she and Rainbow Dash become friends again, and several others where she’s friends with the Mane 6, like Trixie or Starlight or Sunset or literally any other reformed villain. Why does no one think about what a great ally she would be? I mean, she’s barely even a proper antagonist at all.

Lightning Dust is NOT evil. Seriously, why do so many people hate Lightning Dust!? She is SUCH an underrated character! All she is is careless! Evil means you have intentions of harming or killing or destroying something. Lightning Dust is a great character, a great friend, and has an awesome personality. Sure, she has stuff to learn about friendship and safety, but why the heck does that make her evil? She’s one of the greatest characters in the show in my opinion.

Lightning Dust isn’t evil, she just doesn’t care about safety and is willing to put other ponies lives at risk to put on a good show. Even if that pony is a filly.

Lightning Dust isn’t even remotely evil. She is egotistical. Kind of like a first gen Dash or Trixie. She cares only for making a flashy show tossing all care and safety to the winds. A true realization of a daredevil.

I mean, one is happy to endanger and and possibly even kill ponies if it means doing something she thinks is impressive while the other has been doing her best to behave, so it’s not exactly unfair. Maybe a slightly more accurate description would be “Sociopathic,” “Working On It.”
