Glory™, the Magic Unicorn
Glory is just too pure for this mundane world, so she wish-teleports to a magic+1 realm. She gets more than she bargained for though. This story raises questions about the just how thin the wall between worlds was in the G1 era, and about the interlinkedness of all those planes.
This is a read-along story book that came with a short audio cassette tape. The video at the source has this audio, and is 11 minutes and 27 seconds long. I absolutely love the faintly creepy analogue tape stretch preserved in it: “every time you hear this chime, it means it’s time to turn the page in your story book!” 😮

The Read-Along book “Glory the Magic Unicorn”. The scene with the wizard is quite freaky!
There’s charm to it. The description on the first one said she wanted to do that when she had them as a kid, and she has a very lovely singing voice, I think she does Broadway plays. I think she should try out for those, if they still do them in some fashion, obviously not with tapes anyways. I’m sure audio books still have a place somewhere.
It is kind of weird her channel focuses mostly on coin-op rides given there isn’t much difference between them, but not all hobbies aren’t for every. People collected comics and video games before they were ever worth anything.
They’re lovely, aren’t they? I’ve only begun to scratch the surface of the playlist.
The narrator’s telling really works a lot better than I thought it might. I’ll be watching more of them :) Another thing with this style of delivery: being able to focus on the artwork as you listen leads you in to some really dreamily cute moments too. Take the payoff at the end of The Flying Dragon for example. All together now: awww!
