Gentle Breeze is the only child between Zephyr Breeze and Tree Hugger. When Breezie was only a few months old her father slipped back into his old ways before the stress of being a new father along with the responsibilities of a baby the stallion fled to Celestia knows where. No one, not even Fluttershy, has heard from him since.
Tree Hugger settled in with Fluttershy and Big Mac for the longest time until she could get back onto her hooves after her live-in coltfriend fell off the face of the Earth. The single mom eventually found work in Ponyville helping Jasmine Leaf run her Tea Shop and able to save up for a small apartment and move out of her sister-in-law’s place.
Breezie has always been small and lithe for her age, taking after her Aunt Fluttershy. Her mother always took pride in her daughter’s silky hair and made sure it was well taken care of. Breezie had always wanted dreds like her mother but the mare told her she didn’t have the mane for it.
Breezie never asked about her father, her mother had mentioned one time that he passed away and that was good enough for her. After she graduated she learned that her mom had started to date an old friend, Jasmine Leaf. The teenager was ecstatic for her mom finding love again, and often helps out in Jasmine’s Tea Shop–she’s even well trusted enough to watch it alone while Jasmine steps out for lunch or to see her marefriend.
