her dad and big bucks ive tried to keep close to the show’s design for them, but i edited spectacle’s design slightly from her comic appearance for reasons i will not explain. yet. maybe u can figure out why lol. ill drop a few hints,,,,,berhaps
 
(also ik jack pot and big bucks wear suits n shit in the show but im too lazy to draw them on/dont want to cover up markings lol)  

 
Spectacle was the eldest daughter (and therefore heir to the wealth) of a rich, upstanding unicorn that was considered with high regard among the canterlot elites - and she loathed her family for this. She wanted nothing to do with the elite life. at just 16, she ran away from home, cutting contacts with her father and her sister (who then went on to inherit their father’s riches instead) and leaving canterlot entirely - heading to las pegasus.
 
Here, she took up a small waitressing job in the city’s heart, just to make ends meet. The hours and wages were rough, but she enjoyed living a life away from the priviledges/elitism of canterlot folk.  
One lucky evening, on the job, she met the wonderfully charming Jackpot. At the time he was just a small time performer, trying to make ends meet- and struggling to do so. he could hardly book any gigs anywhere, and had to pick up any odd jobs around the city - Including the restaurant Spectacle was working at, where he joined the kitchen staff for a brief amount of time. The two sort of…happened, as the result of it lol
 
For the most part, their relationship was sweet. He was charming yet scrappy, and she loved him for that… However as time went on, things began to change. Jackpot grew in his success, gathering more gigs and consequently more fans and more money. Many ponies adored him, and he eventually saved up to buy a better/larger house, and to quit his odd job hunting - heck, even for Spectacle to quit if she wanted to… But she didn’t.  
She didn’t like this change. The money was exactly what she was trying to avoid, but she could have tolerated that - he changed drastically. He was no longer so scrappy. he threw himself into his work and lived most of his life out on the stage. The two had very little alone time together anymore, as he was so focused on his work and nothing else. Spectacle was a much more quiet, reserved pony who njoyed her private little life, away from grand gestures or needless displays of wealth. The two, sadly, had to split.
 
Not long after splitting from Jackpot, Spectacle found that she was pregnant, with no doubt in her mind that it was his. She was once again low on money, and now destined to be a single parent. She thought about contacting her family once again, admitting defeat and going back into the lap of luxury…but she was determined to find some other route. She had to get out of Las Pegasus, at the very least.
 
On her travels, afraid and weary a very… odd, group of ponies picked her up. they were a group of about 6 or so old mares, running a travelling little community across equestria. Though Specatcle was cautious of them at first, they insisted that at the very least they help to look after her during her pregnancy. Even after giving birth to a healthy, ickle filly (trixie), Spectacle had grown quite fond of the mares at this point, and chose to stay with them in their little community.
 
Their community saw many ponies come and go so i imagine Spectacle finds a new partner, and eventually marries them, hence how trixie gets the surname “lulamoon.” While Trixie knows of her real father’s existence, and always has known, Jackpot is yet to find out about her.
 
And in writing all of this I haven’t even mentioned Big Bucks. Bucks’ story is very simmilar to Jack’s - he travelled to Las Pegasus in the hopes of making it big in his magic act, and initially found no luck, but eventually saw his career building and building. At first, Jack and Buck were big, competing rivals with a seething hatred for each other. Each show they would try and out do one another, building up over the top tricks and enormous displays of wealth - until they realise, what the fuck, this would totally work better if they stopped bickering and just kissed each oth- i mean, worked together.
 
They’re happily married gay dads now. That being said though, neither really know of trixie’s existence lol.
