Hey guys! I’m new here I’m not sure why it’s taken me so long to join but I’m loving this amazingly talented community thus far.
 
I’m was super excited to draw Princess Celestia from My Little Pony! I’m using Autodesk SketchbookPro to draw her and I couldn’t find my stylus at the time so I used my finger for this design, not my best work lol. Full Timelapse
 
Princess Celestia is my favorite character from MLP for many reasons. She has this sense of mystery behind her origins and where she comes from and I love the way they created her with the beautifully colored flowing mane, she truly looks like royalty. Her personality is super refreshing too, I can always feel this almost motherly presence when she’s on screen with the other ponies, especially with Twilight Sparkle.
 
I would love to see more of the origins behind who Princess Celestia was before she became Princess of Equestria and how she came to be the princess in the first place. Maybe that’s to come in the next seasons or new generation of My Little Pony.
