Why not? It shows the dragons are indeed capable of compassion and empathy but also treachery and betrayal! Its probably why dragons are like that nowadays because they’re afraid of being stabbed in the back or taken advantage of
Because one race can’t turn off their libido for more than 20 seconds to stop refilling their urge to murderfuck even more of their kind into existence and the other just hoards gems and looks to topple their neighbour while being complete assholes.
If the Drow can survive as a culture, why not?
It’s amazing then they haven’t become endangered with how much they apparently glorify backstabbing and insurrection. Also, that pink one better watch her back because now she’s going to forever be marked a traitor and every one of the previous lord’s followers is going to want a stab at dethroning her.
The scepter working like the ring is a pretty interesting headcanon.
Gaius is male (unless you’re referring to Scales, then my mistake). They might not be his parents regardless since this seems to be an old story from Dragon folklore. The two might even be fictional in the MLP world.

It was picked on the background pony naming thread in reference to Gaius Julius Caesar, specifically to how he was rather famously betrayed by people he trusted. Tu quoque, Scales, filia mia?
