Fun fact: the Chinese characters are acceptably appropriate. For example, Apprebroom’s kanjis read “apple fruit brush”, the kanji of “Scootaroo” means “pouch” (fitting for a kangaroo), etc.

Wasn’t like that back when I learned Moonspeak a couple of years back. All Ls become Rs - at least in proper Japaneese. As far as Chinese goes, fair enough - depends heavily on the particular dialect.

Japaneese use R instead of L, as far as I’m aware. It’s the Chineese that would go “Supplies!” when they see the winged white pony with purple eyes and blonde mane.
