Six years seemed to fly by after Twilight defeated the Storm King. Times had been relatively peaceful since then. Twilight had now become a queen herself, getting married to Comet Tail a short two years ago. Adding her three month old daughter, Radiant Aura, she couldn’t be happier.
 
Radiant cried as her father tried to rock her back to sleep. “Come on Princess, I know you would rather Mommy, but she’s busy right now.” Comet Tail tried to hush the fussy foal, but to no avail. When she stopped crying and suddenly started to giggle he looked up at the doorway. “Sorry, I tried to calm her.” He smiled affectionately at his wife and queen, giving her a chaste kiss as she walked over.
 
Twilight giggled and opted to wave a hoof playfully in front of their daughter. “It’s okay. I just finished with everything and I’ve been missing this little one anyways.” Twilight smiled at her daughter, cooing and making silly faces. “I know it’s silly to miss her, she’s not far away, but being apart from her is so hard.” Twilight scooped her up and rocked her to sleep.
 
Comet watched Radiant fall fast asleep in her mother’s hooves. “It’s not silly.” He whispered into his wife’s ear and kissed her forehead. “Now let’s get to bed, who knows how long she’ll stay asleep for.” He motioned to their little bundle of alicorn joy. “Come on, I’ll be waiting in our room.” He gave her a quick nuzzle and left the nursery.
 
Finally mustering up enough courage, Twilight left the nursery behind and headed out into the massive hallways of her Castle. As she was about to enter her room she saw a faintly glowing blue light. Mesmerized she followed it down the halls, passing a sleeping Spike and several guards. The light went into her library and settled on a letter that appeared on her desk. Twilight paused for a moment before going over to it. It was addressed to Queen Sparkle. The seal was familiar, but she couldn’t place it. Upon a closer inspection it hit her, it was the same seal that was on the letter she received five years ago at the introduction ceremony of Celestia and Discord’s foals. Without a second thought she took the letter and called for a meeting with her council. “Celestia, I hope this is just a prank!” She opened the doors to her castle, looking back for only a moment. “For everyone’s sake.”
