Yeah IGN is pretty bad
IGN was never good.
I’ve actually seen some bash Sonic 1 just for not having the spindash. Then on a Youtube video for the 3DS Eshop remake of Sonic 1, they show off the spindash, and somebody complains that including it will somehow “ruin the game.” (Despite it being “optional,” and being able to turn it off if you wish.) Oy vey…
I must add that remake works perfectly fine.

Meanwhile, nobody calls Rosalina & Daisy “Princess Peach recolors,” or complains about Wario, Waluigi, ect.
Though, oddly Mario fans used to bash Waluigi, now all of sudden everyone wants him playable in SSB. So they can be kinda fickle like Sonic fans.
In fact, I hear some Sonic fans are now mindlessly hating on “Sonic CD,” despite it being one of the most popular Sonic games.

Yeah it’s a mentality in the sonic fandom I wish would fucking stop it happened with shadow it happened with silver it happened with shade tikal knuckles family julie-su and Remington and many other echidnas hell people actually say that Manic Sonia uncle chuck and Sonic’s Family are recolors heck there are people in the fandom that say that Mighty and Ray are rip offs of sonic and tails

Indeed, I remember when Sticks the badger was accused of being a Marine the raccoon rip-off. Ironically, Sticks is more popular, and well known nowadays. (I miss Marine though.)
Tangle the lemur is also accused of being a Sally rip-off even though she looks nothing like her.
There names are Rough and tumble there both skunks and brothers as well there described as worse than team hooligan
Honestly that’s a running thing in the sonic fandom whenever a character is the same race as another character there instantly called a recolor unoriginal or a rip off

Chibi Jen Hen actually now got to do pencil art for the official “Sonic the Hedgehog” comic book by Archie Comics. (Starting with issue #260.)
So screw the haters. Her art is good, and adorable. (Whether pony, Sonic, or whatever.)
Nope, it was already overdone and cliche by then. That’s like six months after the show came out. Shit was old within one month, maybe two.
