that's what's crazy about it. of all people, I'd never have expected thiessen to be ignorant of the show. I like to imagine it was one of those design by committee things, where everyone who has no clue about the show is like "yeah yeah, that would be so adorable and clever, if the kitty furry saves fluttershy who's scared of the evil bats, to show how she needs his protection!" and the few who know the show just hang their heads and sigh, "not again..."
