Yeah, I liked that.
To bad I wasn’t able to see more of it, last I saw of it was the crossover. And I didn’t get to see his brother return before that.
Last I saw of the series was that lab in the amazon or something.
Oh, well sorry, I didn’t get to see your comment because I was typing all that.
OK, first series, Gwen from the future takes Ben and Gwen to the future. They end up teaching future Ben (Ben 10,000 is his name) to care for his family and have fun again. But when present Ben and Gwen get back to the present they celebrate Grandpa Max’s birthday, but Ben wouldn’t have done that if they hadn’t gone to the future. Which would have led to future Ben being all serious and junk and not caring about any of his friends.
Now, in Ultimate Alien, Ben 10,000 returns to the present time but as a different version. He’s not all serious anymore and has the ultimatrix, which the old one didn’t have. That’s because the other Ben 10,000 never gave up the omnitrix, due to not wanting to be a normal kid. So he never was able to get the ultimatrix like in the ending of Alien Force, because ben gave up the omnitrix only to get it back later improved by the alien guy who made it.
I might have missed somethings but that’s the gist of it.
Don’t bother I don’t wanna hear it.
I don’t even watch Ben 10 anymore so I don’t even know why I cared all of a sudden.
OK, let me explain.
Sit down, get a snack since this is gonna be a bit long.
Gwen and Ben are both 1/4th alien, because their grandfather married an alien. Gwen was the only one that inherited the alien traits, explaining her magic.
It was just explaining her magic is all.
The aliens she’s related to use something called “mana” that they get from the world around them, her grandmother is where she got it from and she’s extremely powerful.
Also, their species are very childlike, unlike Gwen and it’s explained that they’re only serious in their youth and junk.
So older ben 10 travelled to younger ben 10’s timeline. And changed it so that there was a new timeline in Ben 10,000?
Oy, I’m confused.
Well, Gwen’s change explains how Magic and Science can co-exist. Magic is just something scientific that’s misunderstood. And Kevin’s alien is just explaining his powers is all.
And yes, the jackhammer alien is kinda ridiculous, but the others from that set were kinda neat.
Wait, Gwen is an alien? Like it’s been retconned that she’s always been an alien?
Why?
I don’t know about Universe, but Ultimate Alien picked up where Alien Force left off.
But it is a different continuity from the first live action movie, race against time. As is the rest of the Ben 10 universe.
Oh, and also, the future changed when Ben 10 travelled to it in the original series, so that explains the different appearance of Ben 10,000.
After the original, there’s Alien Force, Ultimate Alien, and the current Omniverse.
@sixtyfour
Well, that’s up to personal taste. To me, the art sucks, Gwen and Kevin are suddenly aliens. Aliens are really unoriginal, many of them are just combination of 2 old ones. And seriously, an armadillo with jackhammer for arms, with the same color scheme as construction vehicles?
Or maybe that’s Ben 10 Universe.
Eh, whatever.
I can’t remember it very clearly.
Not spinoffs, continuations.
The shows are directly after each other.
Original > Alien Force > Ultimate Alien > Universe(?)
I thought it was insensitive at least.
…
I liked Alien Force and Ultimate Alien.
I really liked the ultimate alien transformations they made.
3?
