think about all the things on the floor: old soap residue, dirt, sweat, crumbs, paint chips, dust, hair from people, and if you have pets, add pet hair, pet food, and actual crap. If you walk barefoot, guess what, that’s on your foot. wash for feet everytime you go into the shower.
 
a single human foot contains 26 bones, 30 joints, and over 100 muscles, tendons, and ligaments. just rub your hand over the top of your feet and you’ll see how complicated they are. thanks a lot, walking upright. the only thing worse is the spine and our pelvis-to-head ratio.
