What they should have done was add the new multipliers as extra options instead of replacing the old multipliers.
 
That way both the people that want to level up their ponies fast and the ones that want to take their time playing the minigames are happy.

I don’t want to pay 18000 bits to play with one of them one time and then never be able to do it again even more than I don’t want to spend 18000 bits to play with one of them. Fine, don’t give me more stars for it, but I really want to be able to play apple catch or ball bounce with Ecstatic Dancer again.

The “Clear The Skies” game is still there, it’s just a special event that only pops up every few weeks now. You have to check in the Events tab to find when it’s there.

Oh, I wasn’t saying you were bad at the minigames. Just giving another possible reason why someone might pick the third option over the second option.
 
I miss the minigame that you used to play everytime that you got a new star (the one where everypony seems to be able to do the Sonic Rainboom).

Thats the thing I’m no bad at the minigames like my high score with the bouncy ball is over 500. I just miss actually being able to play with the ponies a lot but I dont want to spend 18k bits to play with one

That’s awful though. I have trouble even finding enough things to spend bits on at this point. I’ve been clearing out rocks since making room for Mistmane, and I still have almost a million bits more than I had when I started. Shards are no better; at least once in a while cashing them in at one of the element pillars (or a changeling, or a parasprite, or a vampire fruit bat) I get a gem for my furious tapping. The bits I get for it are as worthless as the shards of course, so other than getting a gem, or a solo event with a prize that doesn’t suck, it’s pretty tedious.
 
That, and why the hell aren’t Cloudchaser and Flitter in the game yet? At least it looks like Petunia Paleo is coming soon, from everything else they’re cramming in. But if they were serious about separating me from my money, Cloudchaser and Flitter (and probably Blossomforth) would be buyables for the Meadowbrook or Star Swirl stories.

You can also get instantly to five stars with the second option. The only point of the third option now is to save bits or if you are especially bad at the minigames.

Yeah I did the same thing. And they also changed how much it costs to play with the ponies but I have VIP stuff so like I just play with one once and then they get 5 stars… How fun…

Yeah, I took pride in arranging my ponies in stores that were meaningful to them. I wish they’d put that back. Even if it had nothing to do with whether the stores produce.

I really hate the update where they took the ponies out of the store. Now I can’t even keep up with keeping my places clean from rocks, trees, and brambles… I stopped playing ans now the place is a disaster
