Description

EDIT: Fixed the insanely fast speed she had on the previous version.

Finally got more progress done on Trixie, so I thought id actually test the rig a bit and animate something random. I really have no clue what she’s supposed to be saying or really doing. This is purely a test to see how the rig looks and performs. Also a good time for me to practice animating in blender as well, as this is my very first time actually animating in the program. So much different than what I am used to in SFM.

Now to point out the obvious: Yes, her horn slightly clips the hat in a few short frames. I used a shape key to shrink her horn into her hat since it was a tight fit. Even then the weighting of the hat kind of made it ever so slightly clip due to the movements. Would have been better off taking off the horn. Would’ve only needed it if she were to take her hat off. I did have eyebrows made as well, but I thought id save that for another render.

Looks good, but there’s just something about the mouth that makes it look off. I think the smile gets way too snared/upturned when she talks. If you limited that, I feel that it would take it out of uncanny valley and into extremely on-point modeling. Good stuff.
