Rainbow Dash feels her metal wing coming apart as she continues plummeting to the ground below. Sombra’s dark voice echoes in her mind.
 
King Sombra: What did you hope to achieve that day, when you sought to confront me? To end the war before it could begin? To become Equestria’s hero? Foolish mare. You had hoped to make your way in history, but you only succeeded in showing your mortality. And now, you have lost your wing. Do not think that mechanical replica serves as a substitute. It’s only a crutch. Without your wing, you will never fly again.
 
Rainbow Dash continues to fall, as dark shadows begin to engulf her.
 
Sombra: Without your wing… you are nothing.

I hope one day there would be a pic of RD confronting her parents after losing her wing. I wonder how would they feel? 🙂
