  1. Trixie tries to force everybody to buy one, possibly even scaring them into doing so. Because everyone needs a Great and Powerful Trixie of their own, and if they all get bought, that will have to mean that she’s more popular than Sparkle.

Considering Trixie and her personality, I can see this going with either extreme.  
  1. Trixie refuses to sell or give up any of the toys because they are hers and hers alone. No one else is allowed to even touch them.  
  2. Trixie tries to force everybody to buy one, possibly even scaring them into doing so. Because everyone needs a Great and Powerful Trixie of their own, and if they all get bought, that will have to mean that she’s more popular than Sparkle.
