Yeah. The Storm King was truly the main villain throughout the entire movie because he was the leader of the Storm Army which is the main antagonistic group. That’s right. The leader of the main antagonistic group of the film has to be the main antagonist of the film. The Storm King did sent Tempest and Grubber to hunt down Twilight who got away and the Storm King begin to conquer the entire kingdom of Equestria after he overthrow all four princesses along with Prince Blueblood, Shining Armor, and Flurry Heart.

It was about this point in the movie that I realized that we had an idiot as the main villain, and it made me sigh. Every time he appeared on screen I rolled my eyes. He’s like the combination of all our other villains, just all the bad parts. He’s not funny, he’s cocky with no reason, he has the stupidest reason to acquire the Princesses’ magic, and he doesn’t feel threatening at all.
 
Tempest on the other hand should have been the main villain, hands and hooves down. She’s the direct opposite of the Storm King.
