”That’s what Mama and Daddy said,” Galaxy squirmed, trying to make herself comfortable in her “boyfriend”’s embrace. “Though I don’t see them doing that a lot.”
”Whenever my Dad tries to kiss Ma she just pushes him away or slaps him in the face,” Hawk couldn’t help but let his eyes wander over to a group of colts across the playground. “Love is weird.”
”Yep,” Galaxy sighed, longingly watching a group of fillies playing together. “I don’t see what the big deal is with love. I think colts are pretty yucky.”
”Yeah…”
”Not you!” Galaxy corrected herself. “You’re cool! I was just saying it would be really gross to kiss and marry a guy.”
”I don’t know,” Hawk pondered. “Kissing girls sounds pretty weird too.”
”Well, maybe if we keep going out we’ll change our minds. Then we’ll see what everypony else does, right?”
”I guess…” Hawk nudged himself closer to Galaxy, both feeling equally uncomfortable. Maybe this was normal for dating couples, but neither of them were enjoying it. They may have to give this love thing a pass.
