Just because you’re not laughing doesn’t mean nopony is. Humor is relative. “It’s not funny” always contains an implied “according to whom?”
@FrootiDragon
Either way, I pray nobody dies because of this image. And if someone does, Curtsibling should be sorry, and should also count his blessings that Agatha Christie’s psychological horror classic Ten Little Indians is fiction.
@Korora
It depends on the day, but generally he’s that kind of person who mocks everybody but himself, and tries to get personal when someone says “hey, not funny”, cowardly appearing as an anon.
I no longer find the image hilarious. I said that before the z-word fiasco: I thought I was the humorless thirtysomething spoilsport on the spectrum, afraid to be signaled by the younglings as the unfunny Euro-liberal. Well, no longer: I found out that there were lots of people here that share my feelings, between them the show’s main animators.
Sibling as an artist and a person? After all these years I settled on considering him another edgelord who doesn’t deserve the attention, less so nowadays. TL;DR, he’s a gifted piece of barely human shit, a waste of talent.
@redweasel
He’s a good artist, hands down, and he even presents custom pics to some of his brony fans for their birthdays.
His self-advertising tactics could use an improvement, though.
That said, I personally find this pic hilarious.
Being a good artist isn’t equivalent to being a good person. Curt isn’t too good of a guy–wishing death on others because of their condition (autism/Asperger syndrome) and/or interests is disgusting and straight-up cruel. Especially the autism/Asperger syndrome thing. You can grow out of interests, but you can’t grow out of autism. And considering some of Curt’s replies to miscellaneous commentary on his works, he isn’t too fond of autists. Which is mean because we didn’t do anything to him. Also, you find this hilarious? Really? It’s an image that’s actively encouraging people to commit suicide–there’s nothing to like about that.
@reversalmushroom
I’m sure he finds this funny, but I’ve also seen how he acts outside the fandom and his lolumad persona. Not the type anyone outside of Xbox Live or DotA/LoL would want to be around. He’s basically the sort of person that I’d expect to have had a giggle when he read about Michael Morones and wishes there’d be more of it.
Curt’s “LOLumad?” persona reminds me of my middle school bullies. They thought that some random teacher dissing/roasting me for watching MLP at school during my free time was some hilarious joke material. “My Little Pony isn’t the best choice” well, neither is sharing your unasked-for-opinion with me out loud. I’m already autistic and (at the time) friendless and hated by my classmates and having them laugh at me in my face didn’t help. Thanks a lot, random-teacher-whose-name-I-don’t-even-know.
@Rain1234
What happened with your spelling in the final stretch, there?
Also, yeah, some people are too sensitive and take things too seriously.
It’s better to be sensitive than be responsible for somebody’s death. People like Curt are among reasons why people feel suicidal and/or commit suicide. Wishing death on people isn’t a joke (and neither is suicide). “It’s just a little joke!” well I’m not laughing. Call me a “reee-ing autist” all you want but suicide isn’t comedy, it’s a tragedy. And so is the “Equestria after death” mindset which some actually delusional/mentally ill people might have. You’ll never know.
Imagine you had bad karma and came back as a pony in Filly Funtasia instead of Equestria.
If it was real, there’d be no reason to stay here indeed

So do I. I pray nobody gets hurt.

There’s no way to tell.
Or as Gilbuck and Sullimane put it…
It depends on the day, but generally he’s that kind of person who mocks everybody but himself, and tries to get personal when someone says “hey, not funny”, cowardly appearing as an anon.

You tell me. I have Aspergers.

And is he serious, or does he not realize he could be taken seriously? Or is there no way to tell?

In short, Curt is a wood duck?

If nothing else, you’ll have to relearn how to type with
gentlemare’s sports gloveshooves.Please keep us updated how well it worked. Getting used to pony life after being a human cannot be that easy
That’s why pretty much all religions have the teaching that you can’t earn a good afterlife if your death was suicide.
