What do you expect them to do, come out and say “Yeah, we totally got hacked. Show’s dead in two years”? The amount of information contained in the leak (which I’ve seen first-hand) indicates that it’s real.
And no, it doesn’t mean the franchise is ending. But the show as you know it is.
Even if the current gen is ending another one is going to be starting
Leak info is not confirmation, and if it was, a show ending is not en entire franchise.
but wasn’t it confirmed that mlp was gonna at S9? also a bunch of other shows are ending soon and some of the new ones don’t look all that good.
If you think MLP will end at S9 you are kidding yourself. But even if it did so what? Life goes on. Find something else to enjoy your time with.

True, but calling it the break between seasons doesn’t quite do the long wait justice. No, the real hiatus will come early this summer as it has for the past three years. If the last two are anything to go off of, it will probably happen after episode 10 unless Canada and Australia come to the rescue again.
